I've spent numerous hours volunteering for animal welfare organizations including The Doney Clinic for Pets, Seattle Animal Shelter, Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic & the Progressive Animal Welfare Society. I've assisted the veterinarians, helped with adoptions and fundraisers, organized events and headed up a dog walking program at the local animal shelter. After starting a part-time dog walking service in 1998, where I donated all proceeds to P.A.W.S. to benefit homeless pets, I decided to leave my career in music marketing to enter the pet care field full-time, a field that I felt I was destined for all along. I took a job in a Veterinary clinic while I prepared to launch my own pet care business, Pets Dig Me Pet Care.
Since 2001, I've been a professional, full-time Seattle dog walker and cat sitter serving the needs of the Ballard, Queen Anne, Greenlake, Phinney Ridge, Fremont & Magnolia neighborhoods. My home is Seattle and there is no place I'd rather be and nothing I'd rather be doing. This is my permanent career so with Pets Dig Me you and your pet can count on stability.
Pets Dig Me has always been, is and will always remain a small local business with no employees and no independent contractors. You and your pet will always get me, someone with experience, who cares and whom you can trust, on each and every service. Unlike many Seattle pet care services I keep a smaller roster of clients and they get my all. Pets Dig Me is established with over a decade of service and countless outstanding references.
In my spare time I am constantly seeking out ways to help less fortunate pets. I'm passionate about creating fun, stimulating environments for cats and taking adventure hikes with one of my canine pals.
